Medal for valor in service

Medal "for valor in service" - departmental medal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of the Interior established the order number 50 of January 24, 2001.
The medal is circular golden color 32 mm in diameter with raised rim at the rear side. On the front side of the plotting of a heraldic symbol - the emblem of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the internal troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. Around the emblem on the edge of the coin is laid solid laurel wreath entwined with ribbon at the top. On the back the inscription placed medals - in the center horizontally in three lines: "For valor in service" with laurel leaves and the "Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation" at the top and bottom edge. All images and inscriptions are convex.
The medal is attached by a loop and a ringlet to pentagonal block, covered moire ribbon of blue. 1 mm from the edge of the tape strip coated red 1 mm. Tape width 24 mm.
